Local educator's idea goes viral |
I just read an article in today's Rocky Mountain News about the fascinating story of local teacher Karl Fisch's "Did You Know?" presentation. It started as a casual presentation for his fellow teachers at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colo. Today is has been viewed by over 10 million people around the world.
How exactly does a small idea go viral to have a big effect? Fisch hit the nail on the head when he said "If you have something to say and say it in a way that resonates, you can be heard."
I've heard the same sentiment many times since I joined Cactus . To us, it's important to reach our audiences in a relevant and impactful way. And, the opportunity to do so has never been greater than in today's era of digital communication.
You can read more about the "Did You Know" viral phenomenon on Fisch's blog . You can find links to both versions of his presentations on the right side.
