| 06.09.07: Why it’s cool to work for an ad agency (or, Things I Likey) |
1. You will never be presented with a two-for-one dining coupon, asked to bring a hot tea in the middle of the dinner rush or be forced to return to the kitchen for a side of ranch.2. Every day is Bring Your Dog to Work Day. 3. Watching ridiculous clips on YouTube is billable as research. 4. Flip-flops are an essential part of the dress code. 5. At any given point someone, somewhere in the office, is bound to be singing some sweet Neil Diamond tune…and someone else will answer. 6. There are always plenty of interns to send on afternoon beer runs. 7. The less the office resembles an office, the more creative it is considered to be. Foosball anyone? 8. The kitchen is always stocked with delicious treats. Cookies, donuts, bagels...I don’t know how they get there, but I am always willing to eat them. 9. Every AE/Copywriter/Producer/Media Buyer who works here is also an actor/musician/artist/chef, so whenever you are planning an impromptu play/wedding/party/cookout, you know where to go for favors. And the very best thing about working for an ad agency? 10. I just got paid to write this. Cheers Quote this article on your site
