Toronto Blue Jays TV ads |
I came across these new ads for the Toronto Blue Jays this morning, and thought they were cool. Plus they really got me fired up for the upcoming baseball season .
While I’m not a Jays fan, I was definitely surprised to see some cool work done (considering the poor quality of the Rockies ads over the last couple years), and was particularly fond of the “Fishing” spot, which brought back some childhood memories. The third spot features Denver native and 2003 Cy Young Winner Roy
Halladay, who played his early ball at Arvada West High School.
Hopefully, even if you aren’t a fan of the game, you will enjoy these spots.

Who is Clyfford Still? |
Clyfford was an American Abstract Expressionist painter who, unlike most Abstract Expressionist painters, didn’t suck. He had an amazing eye for color and organic composition, and his work displays an energy and beautiful ferocity that few have been able to achieve.
When he died in 1980 he left a treasure trove of paintings, many never seen by anyone, that he and his wife decided should be preserved as a complete collection. So his wife announced that she would donate the entire collection to which ever city would build a museum dedicated to the collection.
