03.04.08:
Last Ball Standing |
We've successfully completed our first Kroenke (Pepsi Center) promotion called Last Ball Standing. We wanted to develop a promotion in conjunction with the Lottery and Kroenke that generated audience excitement, showcased all of our games, and played up the Lottery's new theme "Don't Forget to Play".
Games will be held during halftime and period breaks for all Pepsi
Center teams (Avalanche, Nuggets, Crush and Mammoth). The premise is
simple. Three balls take the field/court/ice and only one is left
standing. So the Powerball, Cash 5 and Lotto balls enter the ring and
battle it out to be the Last Ball Standing. Each ball represents a
level of the stadium so each area is rooting for a particular ball.
Once a winner is crowned, a section and row is selected from the
corresponding level. All the spectators in that row/section/level win
Colorado Lottery Scratch tickets.
This promotion is great because it allows us to talk about all of the
Lottery products, generates Scratch product trial, and most of all, is
fun.
Above you'll see a picture of our trial run in the costumes. If you
happen to run into our CD Norm or our MD Jamie, feel free to ask them
who the last ball standing was…
