RJ Reynolds pulls print ads |
Yesterday I sent this article to our staff at Cactus. We've been following RJ Reynold's launch and promotion of Camel No. 9 cigarettes since they launched earlier this year. You can read a previous post about Camel No. 9 ads here .
My favorite part of RJ Reynold's announcement is their pr person's quote saying the move is "an effort by the company to enhance and sharpen the effectiveness and
efficiency of its marketing programs.” Today AdRants said because of that quote, "Hmm. We just threw up...a tiny bit...in our mouth." I couldn't have described it better myself.
