Monday morning coffee at Cactus was interrupted by a couple outside the office¹s first floor windows. What appeared at first to be a romantic embrace soon led to speculation of a possible mid-morning breakup. Chatter of what was going on slowly swept through the entire account service team. Some believed it was a kiss because of hand holding, but others believed, by studying body language and posture, that the situation was far more awkward in nature.
After five minutes, the dust settled. The girl having a slight tear in her eye and the guy still looking rather awkward. She let out a brief laugh (clearly masking her pain) and he walked away.
And we went back to our jobs.
